Work Finished on Manchester’s Most Sustainable Office Building

FORE Partnership has reached practical completion of its grade A office building on Manchester’s Mount Street.

Windmill Green has made a name for itself as one of the most sustainable buildings in Manchester.

TP Bennett led on the building design, which includes a rooftop terrace with its own apiary and sweeping views over the city, as well as living walls made up of thousands of individual plants and ultra energy-efficient LED lighting.

Basil Demeroutis, managing partner of FORE, said: “We are very pleased to reach this important milestone, three years after purchasing what was a derelict building. This legacy from another time has now been turned into the most relevant and engaging workspace in the city.
