FORE Wins EG ‘Sustainability Award’ for Second Time
For the second time in four years, FORE Partnership was given the highly prestigious ‘Sustainability Award’ by Estates Gazette.
The award celebrates the individuals, the companies and the products that are doing more than ensuring their own success. The category is for those that are creating a solid future for the success of the real estate sector. Entries needed to demonstrate clear evidence utilising new technologies, new methods or new ways of thinking or approaching business to deliver a real estate proposition for the future.
From developments in tech to the shifting nature of the built environment, from the race to embrace modern methods of construction to new ways to persuade the public how the industry can be a force for positive change, there was no shortage of potential candidates for this award.
The judges said FORE’s entry was clearly focused on doing the right thing for the planet consistently, not just doing something once to win an award and get the badge. They called the business a real leader that was “walking the walk as well as talking the talk”.
FORE’s founding principle a decade ago was: the industry must innovate to keep pace with the new economy and not let entrenched business practices stand in the way. FORE’s mission ever since has been to lead the industry into the future. FORE was recognised as driving the innovation leap required to meet our industry’s great challenges.
From the landmark re-use of 1930s steel at TBC.London, to the advocacy for fundamental change in our supply chains, and the innovative use of new techniques like Qflow to measure and report on embodied carbon. The award is evidence that the team has a real track record of innovation, not just pleasantries.
