We’ve been asking the same question since we se up FORE nearly a decade ago: why do we come to work?

In days gone by, the office used to be an aggregator of infrastructure, a place to come to use a computer, copier, fax, things that you could not afford to have at home, that were impractical. Yet, we now have an office in our pocket.

Or perhaps it was a place that improved efficiency and productivity. Where you got stuff done. Well, the pandemic has shone a light on what we’ve known here for a while: we don’t need an office to be productive.

It must be for something else.

At FORE, we have popularised the idea that offices exist for some higher purpose. Including the essential fact that office space is a reflection of your company’s brand and values, what you believe in. Your purpose.
